This game needs Metallica!!!

Metallica is easily the greatest band to ever rock, no doubt about it. (at least in my book). with that said they would be absolutely perfect for rock band. the only drummer better than lars ulrich is neil pert. (i wouldnt mind some rush either). the metallica guitar parts are also second to none. if you arent familiar with metallica's amazing work i suggest you listen to them and you will see it my way. these are the songs that would really wow you... enter sandman, one, master of puppets, hero of the day, sad but true, both unforgivens, and king nothing.

Don't count on it happening. Metallica has become what many affectionately call "arrogant doouche bags", thats part of the reason Jason Newstead left, and because he could see, as many fans, that the last few albums were crap. :mad:

Metallica is one of those bands that will feel it "compromises" the artistic value of the song.

Pretty lame for a band that got their start by playing covers of Black Sabbath and promoted themselves by encouraging bootlegging.

Despite all this i would love anything from And Justice for All or back. Even if it had to be "One" i'd take it, although there would be many better choices.

Metallica have so many good songs it's hard to decide, disposable heroes would be fun because of it's wicked solo and songs like Dyers Eve would be so wicked.:D

Disposable Heros is one of my favorites from them as is Battery.

Probably one of the most insane songs you could pick from though would have to be Dyers Eve i agree.

As it seems, they have included Enter Sandman (a tad predictable), it would have been a lot better if they had chosen a song that no one would have expected. Blackened, Creeping Death, My Friend of Misery, Frantic, Whiskey in the Jar (of course their version of Thin Lizzy's song), and things like that.

Tell me about it. At least if they had to go with a single it should have been One. There are much better songs than One of course, but one would have been way better than Enter Sandman.

Oh well. Most didn't expect Metallica to be in at all, so with luck at some point im sure we will see more of the Metallica that most would actually like to see in the games. So overall even though its Enter Sandman, its still a good thing even if you dont like the song.

Yeah, any Metallica is better than no Metallica, no matter what song it is. Even Loverman would have sufficed... :cool:
