Chauvet Color Bank 4-Color Sound-Activated Light

I scored an awesome deal on a sound activated light at Guitar Center over the weekend. It was only $31.99 in store! MSRP is $84.99. I gotta say it is pretty awesome for the money. I will try to post a video later. I have it mounted on the wall above the TV near the ceiling.

My setup now consists of the Stage Kit running duel LED controllers. Two Rainbow Trance lights from Spencers mounted on the wall to the right and left of the TV. The Chauvet Color Bank 4-Color Sound-Activated Light. Spencers LED Disco Light. 12" motorized mirror ball.

I was able to put all this together over the last few months pretty cheap. I got most of it when it was on sale, clearance, and or with coupon. Here are links to the equipment...

Cool! How well does the sound activation work for the light bank? I just picked up the LED equivalent of that one. It's a bit more expensive, and maybe not quite as bright, but I prefer the cool running of the LED's. Cheapest place I found for that one is buy.com with free shipping.

Sound Activation is great and it's adjustable. I run 2 of these during my Rock Band Bar Nights.

I have both of those (incandecent and LED) they rock !!!!!!! You definitely want to spend the money on the LED version. The standard bulb version when not playing ,taking a break to chose songs or to go to the restroom the bulbs get Very Very HOT and start to burn the color off (because they are on one color to long) you will see the smoke !!! LEDs no heat no fire hazard.
I have mine mounted behind my 56" DLP TV so it lights up the wall and ceiling behind the TV. I also have a strobe,black light,laser,American DJ Reflex LED,fog machine/moonbeam and lava lamp all sound activated .............Yes my living room looks and feels like rock concert.
Everyone who plays Rock Band needs some kind of light setup!!!!

Thanks for the info on this light. And for the tip about placing it behind the TV. I was thinking about putting it behind, but not sure yet. I have a place behind the players up high that I was going to try first. I'll have to try a couple different places to see what has the best effect. And no fog machine yet though, but maybe in time once I'm sure it won't harm any of my electronics and stuff. My goal is to add one thing to my set up each time I have a rockband party.
