New Rock Band 2 Drums any better since xams

I have a question. Ive heard some bad stuff about the first shipment of the Drums with Rock Band 2.. Mostly pedal, yellow pad and oversensitivity issues. Have they cleared that up?:)

Yellow pad absolutely...bass pedal still isnt near as responsive as it prolly should be but unless you're playing the hardest songs on Expert you're not really gonna notice it too much

Edit: I just bought the Rock Band 2 pack about a week ago so thats where I'm getting my info from. Had Rock Band 1 instruments up until then but have had Rock Band 2 since the release date.

I have the new set allready. But like others like myself. The pedal stopped working suddenly and would trigger the yellow pad. Some people would send it back, others would stick something in the dpad to get it to work.. I read it had to maybe do with the computer chip you plug the pedal into was faulty.. I went back to my old RB1 drums but I hate the click clack of them and am one of those guys that wrap socks all over them.. haha Im willing to buy a new set but not if they are going tostop working again .. Kist wondering if anybody knows if they fixed it?
