Would like to see some Hip-Hop and Rap

Snoop Dog has done some great live band stuff in his career. I would love to see some of the good Rap and Hip-Hop songs become DLC.

The only problem is that you have to have tracks for guitar, bass guitar and drums in the song as well, so you could do stuff like Rage Against The Machine, Linkin Park or Sabotage by Beastie Boys. However, stuff like Snoop Dogg might not work.

Sorry its been so long. I am glad it was the snoop with the full band behind him. It was something I loved hearing him do an SNL years ago. Send me some battles!

Either way, rap songs that actually utilize instruments suitable for Rock Band in general would be pretty neat.

Public Enemy, Run-D.M.C., maybe some Lupe Fiasco and B.o.B., Cypress Hill (their new album has stuff with Tom Morello i think), some Beastie Boys, Zebrahead (well they're more like rap metal, but you get the idea). There's a good bit of possibilities here.

Run-DMC is a must. As well as "Bring Tha Noise" by Public Enemy and Anthrax. I'd also like the Marilyn Manson remix of Eminem's "The Way I Am".

Rock Superstar (rock version) by Cypress Hill would kick ass.

With the vocal harmonies and keys in RB3, Love the way you lie by Eminem and Rihanna would be a killer song for the game as well.

The problem with a lot of Eminems older stuff is that there isn't much in the way of guitars or bass in them.

I suppose it could be argued that well keys has to sit out on some songs so why shouldn't guitars/bass.

Yeah, I agree. I'd definitely love to have rap and hip-hop in Rock Band. I also DEMAND that we contact Activision and get some Megadeath in DJ Hero. Right. Now.[/incasesarcasmwasntobviousenough]

And yea there are many great rap and hip hop songs that are unheard by the general population that would be great for the game. I'd support any Run DMC, Lupe Fiasco, B.o.B., even some Kid CuDi would work. There are some 2pac songs that would work, and definitely alot of Wu Tang tracks. All of the above have all instruments.
