Problems with exporting HELP

I have exported the songs from an european Rock Band to play on a american Rock Band 2 disc. Since the PS3 is region free I expected this to be no problem, but Rock Band 2 doesn't show the songs after I exported them. Anyone have a solution or comment?

The games themselves aren't region free, but i'm pretty sure downloads are. It could be that your transfer key is the wrong region. I don't have a PS3 though, so i'm just basing this off of what i've read about it in the past.

If my transfer code would be wrong, from which region would I have to download it then? Since they are different and I used the European code I think the American, but I can't buy it with the credit card I have because I need to fill in the address of the credit card holder which is Holland, so I can't buy anything in the US store with it.

im not real sure on how other regions work.. but with PS3 and the 20 free songs, once you download them, you need to install them afterwards... That could be why your not "seeing" them yet on the RB2 Disk... When you export them, it downloads them, which then just like other DLC songs, you have to install them...
