I have a Yamaha KP65 kick trigger. I tried the stereo 1/4" to mono 1/8" adapter with no response. I then tried splicing a stereo 1/4" cable to a mono 1/8" cable only connecting the neutral and left channel (white) of the stereo cable to the mono cable. It works but it seems to miss about 1 out of 10 hits. I also turned the sensitivity of the trigger to max.
