This is a double post, but I went through seven bass covers, and the two demos. In those covers, what really stood out was your timing, which in no offensive, could use a lot of work.(Quite a few wrong notes on some of the videos, but practice will makes those mistakes go away along with timing). In the demos, your timing is good for what it can be without a drummer. On the second demo though, whatever your guitarist was playing on the second half didn't well at all with what you were playing. Although, it looks like things got messed, so you guys might have goofed off at the end.

How long have you been playing bass, recently? The videos on your profile have been uploaded in the past month. I will say if you only been playing recently then your not doing too bad.

These are all observations from a beginner bassist as well(seriously only been playing since June-July) so more experience bassists may be able to point out more things.

Funny story, actually.

My neighbor, who died recently, suffered from muscular dystrophy. Before the disease progressed, he had played drums for a while. He and his wife could hear me play whenever they were on their porch or in their back yard, and actually enjoyed it. He loved to hear me progress and made comments on my playing each time I saw him. The last thing he said to me was "You're really getting it together." He basically was the audience I played for every night up until the day he died a few months ago.
