My pedal first showed signs of cracking in the summer but with a lot of super glue i have managed to hold it off until now. It finally broke. I can't believe they would make something so fragile as this, I don't care what you say, I PLAYED THEM CORRECTLY AND NOT ABUSIVELY! So what do I do now? There is no warranty for broken pedals, only pedals with broken springs. I don't understand why Harmonix doesn't address this issue.

What do I do now? I can't find any stores that sell the pedal seperately. This is absolutely bogus. I'm in Canada by the way.

It would seem your warranty has expired anyway, so broken spring vs. broken pedal doesn't matter. By the way when did they stop covering the broken pedal? They used to cover it.

Anyway, you can do what I did when my RB1 pedal broke. Which is to basically duct tape something on to the pedal that will hold it together. I used a paint stir stick which happened to be the exact length. It's not perfect but you can definitely still use the pedal. Didn't affect gameplay for me at all.

Other people have used 2 butter knives.

If you really want to, you can order a metal plate online that you can screw on to the broken pedal.

Also, not sure where in Canada you are but I've seen pedals you can buy for RB in EB Games and Best Buy in the Toronto area. I can't say if they're any good though.

Lastly, you can buy one of the higher end pedals online. These are real drum pedals adapted to be used with RB drums. They're pretty expensive though.

What Mex said, check EBay out, lot's of RB pedals and pedal fixes there. Got mine there.

Just contact HMXHenry, they'll send you a bass pedal for free I think.

The same thing happened to me with my bass pedal. I contacted the Warranty Service and they said a recent study showed that if you play the drums on carpet or anytihng like that it will put stress on the wrong places of the bass pedal, causing it to break. I recommend using a cutting board. That's what I use for my bass pedal. It takes a bit to get used to but I'm ok with it now.

You can buy a "Hit Kit" if you guys got a Best Buy around you. They're pretty nice. I bought one for my Wii drums. Although the packaging doesn't say it works with the Wii, it does.

But I contact HMXhenry about it shortly after buying the Bass Pedal, and he said he would've given me a replacement.

So if you'd prefer to get a new one for free, contact HMXHenry.

That's not entirely true. The warranty covers much more than just the spring, including breaks, bends, pins, the bass, etc. You should be able to contact EA to discuss your options. The warranty covers all items for the first sixty days, but depending on the circumstances EA may still be able to do something to help you out, or at the very least point you in the right direction.

While we sometimes have extra kick pedals in house, we're not really set up to be a one stop kick pedal replacement shop. We don't always have replacement hardware on hand and we may not always be able to send stuff out due to all sorts of warranty complications. EA is still your best bet, and they should be able to let you know what your options are.
