Drum connection problem

My drums worked fine when i purchased them, now my xbox wont even recognize them as a controller. When i plug them in, the dashboard button flashes, then goes off. If i keep screwing with it, it eventually picked up yesterday. Now its acting dead all together. Anyone else run into this?

Did it happen after you moved the drums?

I was having connection problems like you described until I figured out there was a loose plug on the end of the cord BEFORE the USB plug. It's round in shape, one side has a "dot" marking and the other side has has a "dash".

I was so :mad: until I figured that out!

i found pull out the power to the usb adapter and replugging refreshes everything.
