Question about Multiplayer quickplay

is there any rhyme or reason as to who gets to be the leader when you connect to a multiplayer game? i dont mind sitting back and just playing songs with some random people and what not but i AM getting tired of playing train kept on rollin every 15 minutes. good song, but it's starting to drive me nuts. i'm sure everyone has their fave songs to play and what not but it'd be nice to be in the driver's seat when it comes to song selection for once.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. It's just randomly handed out to whoever is in the first "batch" of joiners.

So, if you and two local buddies are on your console and you get a 4th online, the baton goes to one of your locals. If you're solo and you recruit the rest of your band, then it's either you or the first person who joins -- or if the others somehow join simultaneously, could be any of them.

There's no way to pass the leadership stick without breaking up the band, unfortunately.
