I'm glad I have bluray discs which are very hard to scratch.

you're joking, right? blu-ray discs are made out of the same material that CDs, DVDs, and HD DVDs are made of. The primary difference between blu-ray discs and DVDs/HD DVDs is the thickness of material between the recording surface and the outside of the disc. Blu-Ray discs have the recording surface much closer to the laser to allow for more accurate reading and writing that can't be achieved with a lot of disc material refracting the laser. Blu-Ray discs are much more sensitive to scratches than other media and since they're made out of the same material, they're just as easy to scratch.

Actually, I'm not sure if all, but at least some blu-ray discs have a special coating that is very hard to scratch. Before blu-ray officially came they did a test and a guy had to use a pocket knife to scratch the surface.

Here's a youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5jEbZt6AIQ) for you.

So if the game is messed up, we have to take the chance and send it blindly??
I think im just gunna exchange it at Target, rather then do that.

Mine did the same thing..played the solo guitar for a while..took it out, and it was scratched to hell...so according to the support link, you have to send them $20 to get a replacement? Is that correct?

"EA Warranty Information. If the defect in the Recording Medium or Manual resulted from abuse, mistreatment or neglect, or if the Recording Medium or Manual is found to be defective after 90 days from the date of purchase, choose one of the following options to receive our replacement instructions:

Online: http://warrantyinfo.ea.com/"

I found that on the warranty page.

The replacement fee is only applicable if the damage was caused by you outside of normal use rather than it being defect of the disk, itself.
