Being the huge dragonforce fan that i am, i do realize df in rock band has a couple problems, one being long guitar solos would be pretty boring for the rest of the band, then you have the difficulty of their songs, which is more of a plus than a minus because there doesnt seem to be a lot of super hard songs and haveing one would be nice, then the words are kinda weird and akward to sing in a way i guess but i dont think its that big of a deal, im not really sure what song of theirs would work that well considering the large amount of guitar solos


on a semi irrelevent but i really dont feel like making a seperate thread topic, 5 player-ing on some songs would be awesome like dragonforce-2 lead guitarist+bass guitar=3 guitars new pornogerfers have 2 singers, the grateful dead has 2 drummers i realize that that nothing has 5 slots, but adapters can be made,and i also realize they can often be blended into the same track alot of the time when their are 2 of the same instrument in a band they sing about the same thing, but wouldnt seperateing the tracks make the game much more immersive and realistic.

there are a TON of dragonforce threads please search for them, also harmonix has said dragonforce is not what they are looking for therefore they will not be in rock band

those 2 statements go against each other, if alot of people want dragonforce on rock band then why wouldnt harmonix want to put dragonforce on rock band? it would seem like a good idea imo if alot of people want it.

It's not a good idea if nobody can pass a DF song without modding the drumkit. There's no double bass. Otherwise they'll just have to underchart the drum part.

Really? 'cause I thought that what one sees as passion is subjective to the viewer, not a good call to flame someone, but I guess that's just me.

That's a reason I hadn't really thought of, and I have to say, a rather reasoned argument against the inclusion of DF. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Dragonforce are essentially masturbation for the ears. While i have taken part in said aural self gratification, it really doesn't belong in a game that's meant to be actually fun (and that last part was a stab at GH3 more than it was dragonforce)
...honestly, there are so many more power metal bands that, while not actually as proficient at performing wankery with their instruments, would be a much better for the game.

Because the guitarist would be laughing at the singer, who'd be laughing at the drummer, who'd be laughing at the guitarist.

I say they should put tons of music up from all over.

I wouldn't get Dragonforce, I'm a musician over several instruments for 20+ years, I love progressive stuff (and run on sentences), but I'm not into "Ninento Metal".

Fire and Flame is a good song, but ultimately cause it's so fast for what I've heard, it all sounds the same to me. Like Techno music.

Raggin on Guitar Hero... I don't get that. I actually like all those songs too *shrugs*
