I usually don't know what to make about those eBay prices for Rock Band. Sure some people desperately want to play and some eBay sellers are taking advantage of that but they did buy a good hat was rare with their own money so they're pretty free to do what they want with it.
Some are just ridiculous though. Like that guy autioneering a Strat with the option to buy it now for 200$ because he says "it's the only way to add bass". At that price, better get another bundle in store or for about 50$ more, a bundle on eBay.

I actually returned a fully-sealed package today that I got from Amazon.
I had bought it from Best Buy but didn't manage to cancel the Amazon order in time, so I took the unopened package to Best Buy and returned it.
What's my point?
It became the only copy of Rock Band they had in the store, and this store started with about 30 bundles total between the two platforms.
However, rumor is that the stores should be seeing more bundles on the 11th or 12th. Here's hoping the people who want it are patient enough to wait for that rather than paying exorbitant prices to the gougers on eBay.

Are we looking at the same eBay? Granted I haven't checked in the last day or two, but last I saw, they were going for about $200-220. Sure its more than in stores, but it's not really that much.

I think the PS2 version drops on the 12th. Anyways, you can find RB here in the DFW area of TX in a lot of different places...Best Buy, Circuit City, even Walmart has them in stock and I can never find what I want at Wally World :p

Well, one sale I saw finished with a bid of $207 and no one got the game because it hadn't met the seller's reserve price. His "buy it now" price was $325, so I think he was hoping for at least $300 for it.

I think it's the same for Guitar Hero. I saw one Guitar Hero where the "buy it now" price was 150$ but the game is still pretty easy to find and you can buy it for 100$ on the RO website. I think some eBayers just try to rip people off. I can't see how they expect people to pay those prices (the GHIII game at 150$ and the RB Strat at 200$) but I guess they manage to find some fools.

I have 2 Brand new, October 27th or later sealed Rock Band bundles for the Xbox 360 just waiting in my living room for them to go up on ebay in a week or so. Anyone want to make an opening offer, just let me know!
The boxes were received as pre-orders and have not been removed from the box/packaging they were shipped in! :)
