This game severly needs more AGRESSIVE DLC
Metal (Of all kinds)
Post hardcore
Hardcore punk
Etc
I kind of realized this because out of ALL the DLC they have released so far none of it is much fun besides the metallica songs.
All the other DLC songs so far (And over half the songs on the disc) are play a couple times and then you are bored with it crap
So Im just making an assumption here that agressive music in general is more fun to play than relaxed music
I mean I can sit there and play the metallica packs songs over and over and every time I turn the game on they are something I actually want to play
I highly suggest we get some DLC from Trivium... seeing as they are the same genre as metallica but imo they write better music (Dont waste your time flaming me I dont care if you think metallica wins just for being the older one)
I mean seriously I'm not even a metallica fan and its some of the most fun things in the game
So... Trivium DLC pack would = Uber win and I would play it over, and over , and over , and over , and over , and over, AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER :D
I mean why not? Harmonix , you have gotten Trivium for Guitar hero 2 DLC in the past. The metallica pack went over very well with a ton of people for RB....
So put 2 and 2 together
Trivium = Sounds alot like metallica
Trivium = Something different than even more metallica
Trivium = Willing to let you use their music and you know it
Trivium = MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR RB PLEASE :O
I'd say every single person who got the metallica DLC pack would get a Trivium DLC pack too , unless they were an insane metallica fanboy who resents Trivium for "Ripping them off"
So please.. get us some Trivium DLC and other metal bands and anything agressive and fun to play more than a couple times

I really don't like listening to Trivium (Mat Heafy's voice annoys me to no end - sorry!), but I think many of their songs would actually be fun to play in RB. The interplay between Trivium's drummer, guitarists, and bassist is very complementary, which works well in a game that emphasizes cooperative play. Considering HMX made a Trivium DLC song for GH2, I'd assume they would do the same for RB.

I personally do not want any of the music you requested at all.

It's all a matter of preference. Personally, I've never even heard of Trivium. Secondly, unlike Tman, I don't like thrash metal, to me it's just a bunch of noise and screaming...not that that's bad, It just doesn't appeal to me. I'm much more laid back, which is why I like country (that and I can listen to it with my kids in the car and not have to explain too much...yet).

I'm perfectly happy if stuff like this shows up in DLC, assuming enough people want it, but one of the reasons I really like RB is because it hasn't succumbed to the "all Metal, all the time" feel of the Guitar Hero series.
Keep the balance, and keep the representation of Metal where it is--Metal lovers don't want to admit it, but it is definitely a niche market: a lot of people who listen to Metal don't listen--and don't want to listen--to anything else, and most people who don't listen to Metal as a rule have one or two Metal bands that they really enjoy (ie, Metallica).

If some of you want to play mild , slow/medium tempo music and you really enjoy it... thats fine good for you but thats not what I want to do
To the guy who says Thrash metal is noise and screaming : Thats because you are low on adrenaline/Testoserone/Appreciation for technical instrumental work :(

How about some GOOD metal, which focused on being good instead of being "aggressive" aka shallow for the silly kiddies that want to feel hardcore by listening to a certain genre of music. We have "hardcore" punk to thank for this trend.

Ive got to disagree (partially). Ive never been a HUGE metallica fan, but i got the metallica pack, and i love playing it. I used to hate the old stuff, but its ok. I personally am a fan of underground metal, but I cant STAND thrash metal. it all sounds the same. its so distinct cuz there isnt much to it. Now, here's where i say partially. I dont like Trivium (anymore) cuz they have sold out. I dont know if uve heard any of Trivium's "Ascendency", but that is the Trivium I love. I bought the new album as soon as it came out, and I listened (struggled) through the entire cd, then turned my self around and sold it back to the store. I would love some DLC from the old Trivium, but this metallica wanna-be stuff just hurts me. for those of u who dont know, old Trivium is pretty much a heavier Bullet For My Valentine. Metalcore type music.
