NYC TOURNAMENT - MARCH 14th MUST READ

There will be a tournament in NYC on March 14th, 2009. It will be held at the Our Lady Of Grace Basment(430 Ave. W, Brooklyn, NY, 11223) located on East 4th St. and Ave. W in Brooklyn, NY. There will be two tournaments, each with $100 cash prize, so potentially you can win $200. This will be an all day event. $10 per entry, so basically $40 per band. Session 1 starts at 12 noon and session 2 starts at 6:30 pm.

**Rules(basically standard touranment rules)**:

-Xbox 360 version
-Music from RB1 + RB2 songs only, NO DLC
-Bands may have as many members as they want, but should contain all band members to max out score
-Bands cannot choose the same song twice

**Instruments,Mods, etc.**
-There will woriking instruments of all types at the event(Guitar/Drums/Microphone), but you are encouraged to bring your own
-No modded Overdrive pedals/whammy pedals
-No modded guitars
-defect correcting mods are allowed(sock/tape/gum rubber)

(it doesnt say anything from what i can see about homemade drum pedals, but i guess you should bring it anyway =P)

Food!!!

there are many resturants on Ave X, which is only a block away(Pizza/Chinese/Diner). Any other questions about food, contact me.

have you guys played in the library around there? i was dropping off fliers for work and i saw a rock band competition being advertised. if not, well, go to the library and if you see a pink flier advertising college planning services, i put it there. :)

oh and i guess i'd drop by but that just HAPPENS to be my 21st birthday. and you guys are underage :p so im def NOT bringing my party there hahaha. well, maybe ill drop in if i have to be in the area that day.

just to clarify.. spoke to the guy.

the prize is dependent on how many people join. the more people, the bigger the prize. (he's taking a house cut of like 10% for fund raiser/rental fees) but other than that, money in the pot its to be won. so as long as there are more than 3 bands there, the prize will be more than 100$. ( and we already know there are 3, mine, soph's, and connor's) haha. (plus the guy's band will be there, and his buddy's band, and another friend of mine's band... so thats 6!! woohoo!)

me and nipps will be there repairing anyone's broken Les Paul guitar controller. we will bring supplies to hard wire them on the spot. it will prob cost 5$, but the fix is well worth it. no more dropped notes EVER! so bring your Les Paul guitar and we will gladly repair it for you!
