It just occurred to me...Capcom finally creates Ryu and Ken's mentor in SF4, if they had come up with Gouken a decade or so back he probably would have been named Sheng Long for the US version.
Also remembering when Electronics Gaming Monthly did all those April Fools jokes about Sheng Long, about the character being hidden in the original SF2 and SF3 arcade games, the mag's editors getting their jollies annoying all the fans like a printed Rickroll.
How Ironic that when Capcom finally creates Gouken, who probably might have easily been named Sheng Long, EGM gets canned.
Certainly sounds like Instant Karma for you.
