Moonalice the best band of 2009 sounds like the 60s

I came across this band Moonalice and I really like them. I wonder if
they can make it big in todays music. I mean their sound is like music
from the love and peace era of the 60s very Mamas and Papas but with
a modern day sound .. you can hear their stuff at their
www.myspace.com/moonalice ... i really like Kick it Open. Has anyone
heard of them before or are they brand new .. anyone got any info ..
or a favorite song or anything ??

i don't quite get how that sounds like the 60's? It's just standard soft rock to me like The Sea and Cake. It's not bad, it's just not all that intriguing. Doesn't hold my attention for too long.
