alternate kick pedal

just a warning my spelling and grammar is REALLY bad so don't be afraid to ask questions if you can't understand it
when i was playing rock band my kick pedal broke and i was vary up set so i decided to find a way to use my real kick pedal cause i know that it will not break on me in one week of play and it worked!!!! i found out that the kick pedal for rock band is a magnetic sensor of some sorts so i took a high powered magnet from an old hard drive of mine and taped it to the end of my real kick pedal and propped up the base of the rock band kick pedal so the now magnetized end of my real pedal can hit it and activate it

Another option is to just use a keyboards pedal. it doesnt have such a long throw to it and it will work just fine, just get an adapter for it since most keyboards use full sized mono plugs and rb uses a mono 1/8" plug
