What's a Stroopwaffle?Something that occurs in the Netherlands and also in Belgium, I think. A Dutch friend sent me a package of them for Christmas a couple of years ago. Two little, thin waffles with caramel in between.

What's a Stroopwaffle?
literally its a nordic snackish type food thats basically a waffle with caramel inside of it.
in this case... its a [slightly disturbing?] term of endearment.

Stroopwafels (http://www.hollandsbest.com/stroopwafels/images/visser_goudse_12283_stroopwafel.jpg) look much tastier than Eggos (http://z.about.com/d/nutrition/1/0/5/E/eggo_syrup.jpg).

They have toaster waffles made of brown rice flour that are a huge improvement over Eggo waffles.

No Trader Joe's, but we do have Animal Pancakes (http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r154/MarksDailyApple/?action=view¤t=pancakes.jpg).
