Are Your Replacemt Parts Working?

I have a bad drum set and I'm reading about people getting replacements with the same flaws. I haven't really played the guitar at all yet. Can anyone with offical status make a remark about the flaws in both the guitars and the drums and what they've done to remedy the issues. I'm curious as to how many people have received replacement parts that are also defective.

My first guitar developed a bad downstrum after about 4 days. The replacement got here lightning fast, but after 5 days of using it, the whammy bar broke. I'm guessing the spring inside just snapped as the whammy is limp now... no rebound. Guess I'm sending in for a 3rd guitar in less than 2 weeks. It's unfortunate that the Rock Band hardware doesn't quite live up to the quality of the software.
