How do I do rock band world tour via xbox live?

I have a load of friends I would like to make a band with and do a world tour. How do I do that via xbox live? So far it looks like I can only do that locally.

Any help on this would be GREAT!

Band World Tour is not yet available in online gameplay. Only Band Quickplay.

Hate to say it but BWT is offline only and no a fix is not in the near future.

Try the search function next time.
