I've read all the rules and conditions and from what I've seen on the website: http://www.harrahs.com/rockband It looks like the competition will be separated into 3 nights. 1st one being local (March 20-April 24), 2nd one being regional (April 30), and the finals on May 8th. When I attempted to sign up for the April 24th local event, I got this email in response:
The top participants from Rock Band nights in New Orleans (Fridays Mar 20-Apr 17) will participate in the Semifinal Round on April 24th to determine who will participate in the regional finals on April 30. We are in the process of taking the 24th date down off the website and I am personally contacting any band who registered on the 24th to inform them of the situation as I have done you.
So does this mean that there are actually 4 nights for competition? The person sending the email seems to think so; like there's a local, semi-final, regional, and then final. Either the website is extremely misleading, or this person is plain wrong. Can someone please clarify the situation?
