I'm not sure what to call this, I've been searching this board for "RB2 Drum cracks," with no results.
Naturally, I'd RMA the kit, but there's this 60 day warranty issue. I got the drums in October, and I believe this issue showed up mid January, conveniently after the warranty ran out. (Go figure?)
So anyway, I'm requesting a fix. My issue is with my blue pad. I mean first off, the yellow and blue pads were pushed in on the center, this is a common issue and I just said "Whatever," and didn't worry about it. Which I suppose was my first mistake. The blue pad suddenly stopped registering normally. After further investigation its apparent that my "middle" ring on the blue pad is cracked at the most top point. Oddly enough this causes the "middle" and "outer" rings to stop functioning entirely! Whoohoo! But the center still works 70% of the time. It is the only functioning part of that pad. But the worst part about it is after feeling inside the center, that piece is literally smashed to pieces. Like shattered glass or something! (GG?)
