One question before Chatham, a regular fixer of Wii issues shows up.

Are you downloading to Wii system memory or an SD card?

You have more than 200 blocks of space free? If you don't you can run into all kinds of save issues.

Same problem with Offspring's Hammerhead, i have tried redownloading it and deleting it from the wii memory and SD card, still waiting fo it to be fixed, i have even deleted the game file too see if it wasn't corrupted, but i think the song is, thank you Harmonix for not giving me an answer for over 2 weeks now.

It seems like the "mid-purchase disconnect" problem happens alot on the Wii...

To be honest, my only suggestion is to contact NoA support and explain the problem to them. All online content is licensed through Nintendo, and they've helped me out on similar issues in the past. Their CSRs aren't the brightest, so you may want to request a call back from a tech.

NoA Support: (800)255-3700

BTW: An SD card is much more stabe for DLC. And on the Wii Memory the songs seem more prone to problems. Wii users filling up the console space with songs are also more prone to having their RB2 save file become corrupted. A cheap 2GB is $10-20... Do yourself and your Wii a favor and pick one up.

On my 2GB SD I have 55+ songs with over 7500 blocks of space left. And I've never had any issues with it.

Hello,

I also ran into this problem. I called Nintendo as advised by Chatham, and finally resolved it...sort of.

Apparently, when you disconnect in the middle of a download, Nintendo's server and the publisher's server don't sync up, and the only solution is to send your wii in for service.

So now, if I really care about playing the song, I have to pay for my own packing box and ship it across the continent for them to fix it. They say that it will only take 21+ business days...only.

They claim that it happens very rarely, and that a fix is in the works to prevent this from happening in the future, but won't fix my current situation. Also, it doesn't affect enough people in the wii community, so the fix won't be announced.

I guess DLC for wii was just a myth.
