Trent of NIN is proclaiming a farewell tour and invited a fully reunited Jane's to help him out with the occasion. Only two festival dates have been set so far, with more info to be revealed soon.
Trent/NIN has stated after 20 years, he's decided to close shop (at least a while).

While Jane's have reunited and will be promoting the release of A Cabinet of Curiosities. A 3 disc, 1 DVD Box set of rareties, as well as the re-releases of Ritual De La Habitula & Nothing's Shocking in April (possible DLC release tie in??)

Interesting, maybe there is a tie in.

Oh I've been basing my theory on that for quite a few months now. Since the DLC has still yet seen the light of day, it seems to be turning out that way. I'd be quite suprised if that's not the case. I've mentioned this quite a few times and it gets blown off. Only time will tell.
Either way, the coheadling tour of these two giants of 90's alternative means more to me. The last time they were together was the first Lolapallooza in '90. Great historical show and awesome memories there.

this really makes me wonder if jane's addiction will be added to the bonnaroo lineup, that would be a selling point of the ticket for me. With Nin headlining and them doing a tour together I really couldn't imagine bonnaroo not trying to get them booked.

From Trent Reznors twitter....

Just got wind of a very interesting potential addition to the NIN/JA tour. No, I'm not telling you yet!
about 13 hours ago (http://twitter.com/treznor/status/1263637414)Dun Dun Dun!!

In other news, I saw NIN live in Adelaide last night. I so can't remember the set list but there was non-entity, suck, wish, terrible lie, downward spiral, reptile, la mer and BURN, WHICH WAS F*CKING AWESOME!! (if there was such thing as 'super-caps lock', i would have written awesome in it)

During Wish a couple of guys from Dillinger Escape Plan came out and played/sung too, was cool.

Check out "Note from Eric" on JanesAddiction.com (http://www.janesaddiction.com/post/all/note_from_eric) ... kind of an interesting look at the thinking that's bringing the NIN/JA tour together.

--Naomi thinks "NIN/JA" is the best tour name ever.

Time for an AskANinja.com fix...

Apparently the dates that have been "released" are phony per members of the NIN forums. Over-lapping shows at some venues for some of the dates are a big case in pointing out their "fakeness".

So I'm assuming we can pencil both of them in as Lollapalooza headliners?

Nah; they did it last year...and I remember reading something about them either being in Europe, or done touring by then...

Still it's Perry's show. If Jane's is reuniting, I gotta figure at least they will be there

Earlier today from @treznor on twitter:

F*ck yeah! Street Sweeper featuring Tom Morello and Boots Riley is joining us on tour this summer. Check it out: http://is.gd/m0GF

That'd be Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, yeah.

Yowza. It'll be interesting to see what the bootleg value of the tickets for these concerts ends up being...
