Don't know if this has been posted before, so sorry if it is old news.

So I am waiting for 2 guitars to be sent to me, it takes a while for that to happen, but we still want to play.

My strum bars are intermittant, sometimes working on the upstrum, sometimes on the downstrum, sometimes not at all.

If the latter occurs, you can still play by using the "D" pad instead of the strum bar.
I wrap my fingers underneath the guitar, and use my thumb to "strum" down on the "D" pad.

Not exactly ideal, but it does work in a pinch while you want for the "new and improved" strat to arrive.

While this is not a fix, it is like a band-aid to keep you rocking using a defective guitar.

Yeah I remember this to simulate a killswitch to beat Jordan.

Haha, yeah I was totally into using the D pad on Jordan which did give a cool feeling of a killswitch. I have yet to use this on Rock Band though, thanks for the tip.
