we have no clue what will be offered, but just the gesture is more than enough for me. I think this is a real stand up move on EA's part.

Even if it's a select list of EA games to choose from I think this is a damn fine way of making up for the delay in the replacement of the Stratocaster. Kudos to EA, this is how big business should do business.

I had to return a defective kick pedal. I also used the 2 day option and its been a week now. Anyone returning anything other than the guitar getting the "free game" email? I haven't as of yet.

I got one, too. Kudos to EA. I thought we'd be lucky to get an "Oops, sorry", truth be told.

Despite my disappointments, I have been really happy with both HMX and EA standing up, admiting their problems, and trying to smooth things over with the fans. Huge companies normally don't feel like they have to bother, but it's really nice to see that EA isn't one of them.

I had to send off for a replacement drum set. My replacement is having issues with the red drum responding correctly. I wonder if I am entitled to a free game? I shouldn't have to mess with sending back a replacement. Now I have to drive to UPS send back my first one and wait for the $100 charge to be removed. Then bother with ordering a second replacement, along with another trip to UPS and another $100 pending charge. Not to mention having to mess with unboxing and boxing up parts to my drums when I should be jamming. To me the time from when I ordered my first replacement, and the time it is going to take to get one that works is just as long as these people getting a free game. I think I am going to talk to them about this.

I wrote to EA a week ago and was refused warranty service (since my mailing address is in Canada) even though the box and all its contents say licensed/approved for use in NORTH AMERICA.

EA is continuing to ignore my follow up emails to speak with someone of higher authority. Great service! ...for some, I guess. :mad:

no replacement guitar.
no free game offer.
no sorry.
no nothing but a hard time.

EA is totally sucking in their handling of this. customer service has been less than helpful too.... they told me that i now have to pursue this matter now with UPS, who reports that THEY HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE GUITAR FROM EA to even ship to me.

i dont know what else to do.

Have you specifically asked them about the free game offer? I didn't get an email either but would call if I knew I would get somewhere...I'm sick of talking to them...

I got the email saying I would get a free game and "by the time you get this the guitar should be on its way". However I check the tracking number they gave me and it has not yet been shipped. Anyone else in the same situation. Im not as bothered by it as much as others because I prefer to use the wireless Les Paul anyway. I would love to get mass effect for free.
