XBox 360 RB2 Latest Patch Question

I have no internet access on the TV downstairs where I normally play my XBox 360. I am having trouble with new download songs not moving past the loading screen.

I gather from other posts that I need the latest update but I need to be able to play offline after patching. Can someone help with the proper way to accomplish this? (I do have internet access in the house, just not where the XBox is played from).

Patches will continue to work while playing offline, and actually, you can't play ONLINE without them.

The best way to solve this is to temporarily connect your 360 to the internet, download NXE (New Xbox Experience), download any 360 Updates, then get the patch for RB2. Now you move back to the other TV...

That should solve your patching problems...

Thanks for the reply. I have the NXE and the unit automatically asks to update the XBox and I have done that.

How do I get the RB2 patch? All I can find when I am signed in to XBL is songs for download. Do I need to load up RB2 while in XBL to do this?

Yes, the game will automatically prompt you to download the latest patch when you start the game while connected to XBL.

yes just load RB2 while connected to live to update the game.

however, i'm not sure that will solve your issue. is it all DLC, or just some songs? if you are offline, DLC will only work on the X360 that it was downloaded on. do you have 2 X360's, or did you have 1 replaced?

All of my previous downloaded songs work just fine. I will try loading up RB2 while in XBL to get the latest patch.

From what I have read on here, that should solve the problem for my latest downloads.
