Drum Kick stand

My Drum Kick pedal is not working when i plug the thing on the drum the kick stand sound goes on but when i use the kick stand it dosent work. and how do i get a new one and i just go it today! ne please help me

Bought out Rock Band bundle last night...bass bedal did not work either!

The only way I am able to get ANY sound out of the pedal is to pull out the
pedal plug and re-insert it. There is a brief 'thump' of bass and then nothing
else when the pedal is pressed.

This leads me to believe that the switch in the pedal is bad, otherwise why
would I get the sound when the plug is removed and re-inserted?

Unless anyone has a solution for this, I guess I will be getting in line for a
replacement.... :-(

yep thats the thing that ive been getting...do i have to get a new one?
