Using RB2 Guitar with GHWT

I have both RB2 and GHWT. I'm not a big fan of the GHWT guitar for a variety of reasons, so I tried my RB2 guitar with it. It worked great! Just fine..for awhile. Overtime though, the RB2 guitar began to screw up when I was playing ROCK BAND 2, but it worked fine with GHWT. I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar experience and if I can find an explanation for this. I really want to do GH Metallica without fighting with the GH guitar...

It was something like lag. It began to miss notes constantly. I calibrated and tinkered with it, and it didn't change. I ended up having to uninstall both games (pain in the %ss) just so that I could play RB2 again.

I have a PS3 with a RB1 guitar and have played a fair bit of GH:WT and not experienced this with RB2. Seems odd that removing the the games would fix it.

Glad you're back on Rb2 though :)
