Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post this to let Harmonix know of an error I found with some song data. I was scrolling through my master song list after importing the RB1 songs and was surprised to find that although "Suffragette City" and "Moonage Daydream" by David Bowie are both masters and both from the album "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars", these songs do NOT group together under the common album.

I made a post on the ScoreHero forums with my sighting of this and after a few responses, pksage got the code from the DTA's of both songs. It turns out that the word "from" in the album title is different for both songs (so we're assuming this means that when the RB engine groups songs together that are from the same album, the album title is case sensitive). For "Suffragette City", it's "Spiders From Mars" and for "Moonage Daydream", it's "Spiders from Mars".

I know this isn't exactly a major problem, but it would be nice to see this get corrected. I, personally, like watching more and more of the albums come together as I download new DLC. Keep up the amazing work guys!

This is something that I'd like to see fixed, as well as the one random song that doesn't have it's pack tagged (I think it was an Arguably Punk 02 song, but I'm not sure).

Obviously, releasing a patch just for this would be stupid, but next time a patch is ready for release, maybe these two things can be thrown in as well.

Wouldn't that actually require patching the DLC (which they've done before) rather than both games?

No. You can patch the album grouping logic so it's case insensitive. Since no two albums from the same artist will share the same grouping info (year, title, art)

That fixes it for the whole game vs. just that one song. So in the future if it happens again it's taken care of.
