I was mad as hell about the looong wait for my replacement guitar, as I'm sure many of you were.
But when a company steps forward and just flat-out admits that they totally screwed up, they're sorry, and here, have a FREE VIDEO GAME... hell, it's hard to stay mad at them.
I don't even care if the game sucks. I'm too engrossed in RB to play anything else these days anyway. Just the gesture is monumental. I never expected a company to go to such legntsh to please it's customers.
Maybe there's some good left in the world after all.

I haven't received an email or anything about a free video game either. Pretty f*ckin sh*tty if you ask me.
Oh well, that's my life.

You only get a free game if you had to wait almost 2 ****ing weeks to get your replacement while others that ordered later got it long ago. They really did have to do something to make up for it and this is more than adequate. I just hope i can choose The Orange Box, then i will not only forgive EA, but love them.

I ordered on 11/21...that's a pretty ****ing long time ago...
I'm irritated because I thought since I am finally getting my guitar and drums on Monday that this whole mess would be over...nope - now I get to be irritated because I got my replacements two weeks later AND I didn't get a free game like everyone else in my boat...

Yea, I got the email also. It is pretty good to step up and admit that their process was inadequate. There is no wrong or right here...there is only poorly planned or executed processes. It is nice to see a big company do things like this to keep it's customer base. I am still upset that this has happened with this launch...but I respect this type of business practice.
Kudos EA. I will throw some more holiday money your way now!

Perhaps all the emails havent been distributed yet. If you waited as long as you say...you certainly qualify.
