I know, I know why am I asking about a Blizzard game on HMX's site? Well, because apparently you can't post on the blizzard forums without already having a CD key or game account or some such nonsense. Seeing as this is the only gamer related forum I post on, thought I'd give it a shot.
As some of you may know, if you want to have a blizzard game installed on your computer and not need the CD to play it each time, you can download it via digital distribution from the Blizzard store. Just type in your CD key from the physical copy and you can download it.
I typed in my THIRTEEN DIGIT CD key for Star Craft and it recognized it. I went ahead, downloaded the game through Blizzard's completely ridiculous downloader and now that I'm installing the game, it asks for my CD key again. No problem, I put it in... BUT, it says I need to be typing in a TWENTY SIX DIGIT CD key... my 13 digit one is invalid (even though the blizzard site recognized it and let me download Star Craft in the first place)
So... How the hell do I get around this one?
