I Wonder What Prevented This...

I think some songs in the game were obvious for Big Rock Endings (Highway Star and Won't Get Fooled Again are prime examples) but they didn't get it. I can't really imagine why. I mean every time I play Highway Star I always expect a Big Rock Ending.

Just wondering what do you think prevented these tracks from getting that treatment? I wonder if it's liscencing based as some of the tracks with Big Rock Endings actually got added on therefore messing with the original master.

I think in the case of WGFA its just a matter of not altering the song. There was the thing about how they thought of taking the synth solo out, but then left in it. And they kind of treat this song as the crowning jewel in the game. You play it last on the solo career mode (or its at least in the last tier), you play it last when doing the HoF set, you play it last when doing the Endless Setlist, etc. So I can kind of understand them not using the rock ending for that.

As for Highway Star, who knows...
