After that answer my questions, lazy buttoxesses!
What are some album suggestions and similar artist for the following plethera of country rock zenithicity:

Poco (besides A Good Feelin' & Indian Summer)
Loggins & Messina (besides s.t.'d and Full Sail)

I don't claim to know about official genres, but in my own mind I've always referred to Blue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewbpc7vvAC8) Rodeo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crfpN3n8lR0) as "country rock."
Anyway, even if I'm wrong they're a really good band that not many people would know outside Canada, that's probably at least similar to what you're looking for.
(ignore the video for the first one, it's the only example I could find on youtube of one of my favorite songs)

Aren't the Eagles considered country rock? If so... yeah.

The Flying Burrito Brothers
Gram Parsons (check out G.P. and Grievous Angel)
These!
Any Byrds album with Clarence White should be on your list.
More recently I think Wilco would fit the bill.
Buffalo Springfield was actually a pioneer of this sound -- check out "Go and Say Goodbye" from their debut album.

I love Buffalo Springfield, I have their last two albums on vinyl. :)
And I do have the Byrds' "Mr. Tambourine Man", and I'm somewhat familiar with their other work. I'm yet to check out Gram and The Burritos though.
@Armsareloud: I'm going to see them here on the 17th, so you can color me knowledgeable on their part.
@Gowie: That was awesome.
@Rainbow: Kinda neato. I shall look farther into them.

Country Rock is a weird sub-genre since Rockabilly is highly country influenced. In the 60's with the rock changing it morphed into a different style which became Country Rock. Here are some early examples.
The Beatles - I Don't Want To Spoil The Party (Capitol/EMI) 1964
The Byrds - Satisfied Mind (Columbia) 1965
Downliners Sect - I Got Mine (Columbia) 1965
The Dillards - Lemon Chimes (Capitol) 1965
Byrds - Mr. Spaceman (Columbia) 1966
Charles River Valley Boys - I've Just Seen A Face (Elektra) 1966
The Greenbriar Boys - Up To My Neck In High Muddy Waters (Vanguard) 1966
International Submarine Band - Truck Drivin' Man (Ascot) 1966
Gosdin Brothers - Love At First Sight (World Pacific) 1966
The Greenbriar Boys - Different Drum (Vanguard) 1966
Gene Clark & The Gosdin Brothers - Keep On Pushin' (Columbia) 1967
Gosdin Brothers - A Hundred Years From Now (Edict) 1967
Byrds - Time Between (Columbia) 1967
Hearts And Flowers - I'm A Lonesome Fugitive (Capitol) 1967
Byrds - The Girl With No Name (Columbia) 1967
Ian & Sylvia - Big River (MGM) 1967

Yes to Blitzen Trapper.
I recently decided to check these guys out after hearing Furr on a college radio station, I definitely like what I've heard so far.
