During overdrive sections, I've noticed I've been playing a lot of paradiddlediddles(RLRRLL) down the drums as they very much look like marching quads...other than that perhaps singled-out sextuplets.

During the big rock finishes, I know that the key of the ending is to get as many notes is as possible so paradiddlediddles down the drums seems to be the fastest for me. Anyway else who can top that? I'm very interested to know.

lay the drum sticks flat so one is across the red and yellow. and one across the blue and green. and twist them in the middle. so each end goes up and down and bash on the bass pedal. you get all the buttons that way on the endings.. my buddy figured that out. gets some big points.

I also play the overdrives like they were marching quads! :D

I usually mix things up using paradiddles, paradiddle-diddles, double-stroke rolls and sometimes try implementing triple-stroke rolls. Whenever I can, I also throw in some flams. But, like you, I find that paradiddle-diddles are sometimes dominant whenever I play.

Haha that is funny, I don't think I ever even played the bass pedal on those parts because I didn't think it counted.

today i think i noticed it gives waaaay more points then banging on the pads.. when ever i hit it the points seemed to go up almost twice as fast.

Ha, I did the same thing! I've only played RB in stores so far, but I found myself playing a lot of paradiddle-diddles around the drums. I only played tenors in high school (I played snare and bass for the six years I performed with drum corps), but I guess old habits die hard. :)

For the finishes, I tend to do the same thing I do on real drums for big finishes, alot of triplets (R-L-Kick), quadruplets (R-L-Kick-Kick), and sextuplets (R-L-R-L-Kick-Kick). Doesn't matter which pads I use, so I vary it up a bit and go all over all 4 of them. Works very well to rack up big points. I think the game likes it better when you vary it up a bit, rather than just mashing on 1 or 2 pads.

Edit: Ok so I only answered half the original question...for the Overdrive sections, I usually end up playing the real fill from the song just out of pure habit.
