Drum D-Pad

Is anyone else's drum D-pad very hard to change difficulties and such? I find myself having to press quite hard, and unsure if its just how it is, or if mine is messed up.

Yes, The D pad on my drums seems right next to useless. Why though are you using the D pad to change difficulty level? Yellow is up and Blue is down, Green to Go and Red to back up! :D
