Hey fellas and felines wondering if you could help me out.
Bought Rock Band 2 from Hong Kong 2 months or so ago cause the wait for the British version is turning into a farce, anyway
My Rock Band 1 songs wont show up even with the key i bought and downloaded. RB 2 wont let me enter the music store saying i have parental controls set too high - i do not have any on and cant turn them down even if i found them. Whats going on? Never had this problem with 1?
Is it because different regions and will I need to re purchase the game when its finally released region 2?
Appreciate any help

For some reason I am getting this to. When I click the Music Store it waits a while and then says I have parental control blocking it even though I have it turned off.
If this helps my game is region 1.

so american games have parental restrictions?!
Weird for a game that deletes swearing from the songs
So how do we get into the music store any ideas?

im not really sure, but it sounds like either a region issue or a console issue.
the game itself would not be able to impose restrictions as that is done by the console.
however, if your games are not the same region i could see where the console might freak out and without knowing what else to do, give you that warning even if thats not actually the problem.

It's a regional issue. It shows up because you bought your RB2 from HK. I'm guessing you bought your RB1 from your home country. In that case it doesn't work. Your PSN account is English right? So you can only access the UK PSN store with your account. If you want to access the Chinese PSN you will have to make a new user account on your PS3 and then make a new PSN account using Chinese addresses and numbers. Unfortunately, this will not bring back your UK songs. DLC and Disc region needs to be the same.
I bought my RB2 from America and when I play it on my AUS user, I can't access the store (and says that Parental stuff too). Luckily, I have a friend from the US that can lend me his account so I can buy some songs from the store.
