Who hopes Rock Bands one of their holiday presents?

For all the people that don't yet have Rock Band are you hoping you get it for Christmas or Hanukkah? I now of about 4 of my close friends that know their getting it but I'm worried my parents haven't found it because my mom said she waited outside one day and they only have the game not the bundle and she said their would be no point to just get the game and they were all of the bundle.

Maybe you could try explaining to your parents that you NEED to open it and get practicing NOW, otherwise you'll get "totally pwn3d" when you try to go online. Especially use the word "pwn3d" just to make them feel like it's really a big deal :D

I know I'm getting it. It's like I had to do with the 360 two years ago. Just sit there looking at the box. It's even worse knowing the chances of getting crappy instruments.

I'm getting it as a X-Mas present to myself, if that counts. Pre-ordered it and waiting for it to come out in Canada. I'll be playing it for a few days and then leaving it while I go back home for the holidays. So sad I can't play it over X-Mas..... :(

Got it the day it came out for Christmas, in order to keep playing it, I have to do a bunch of chores around the house til Christmas

I told my wife that I wanted to get Rock Band as a Chritmas gift so we bought some for eBay and 1 for me to keep. I tested it out on the first night it came out, but after knowing all the issues that early production Rock Band bundles have. I returned it. Later on, I was telling my parents how cool Rock Band was and in fact we went to a Best Buy and rock for a little bit. My dad was so addicted to it that he wanted to keep playing. While my mom was telling us that Paranoid was a song that she used to listen when she was young. So, at the end of the day my mon tells me that she would like to give me Rock Band for Christmas. Therefore, I have a sealed box of Rock Band sitting next to the door waiting for me to open it on the 25th :(

i am and idk if my moms getting it for ps2 or ps3 it all depends if they have it for ps3 by friday at gamestop like they said otherwise i pre-ordered it for Christmas.

I am 46, and Rockband released on my birthday, Nov 20.
Just like a real bithday present, I could not open it till the 20th.
I knew it was in, they even let me look at the box several days in advance.
I have not looked forward to a birthday since I was a kid.

I just hope they get the bugs out soon.

I got one on launch day by asking people for spare change (though I only got about $50, my fellow bandmates pitched in), and I was planning on getting another for Christmas from my dad, but I'm not sure if he's gotten one or not. I hope so, because we need another strat for a bass.
