I don't know, but why do you want to remove what you paid for?

Probably because he doesn't want it popping up in Mystery Setlists on BWT. I don't know if you can delete specific songs. You may have to delete your game data, and then re-download the songs you want (you can download them up to 5 times from the PS Store). You'd lose your BWT data, I think, but that's the only way I know of.

I had this same issue when my wife started complaining about having to play And Justice For All in the Mystery Setlist.
You can go into your 360 Dashboard > System > Memory and just delete the song from there. If you every want it again, you can re-download it for free. This won't affect anything else with your BWT or other downloaded songs.

On the PS3, go into game data, and delete the file there - it should be huge, around 170 megs if you bought a song pack. If it's under a few megs, that's the save data - don't delete that. Once the game data is deleted, go back into the game. Voila, the song is gone, and your characters are not. Game Data, as a folder, contains ONLy patches and updates, not saved content. You'll ahve to repatch, but who cares.
