I have been awaiting a replacement since last wednesday and now they cancelled my rma, I spoke with customer service who said the system may have crashed and we will have to redo your case for this issue. I have been waiting for as long as anyone else and I dont get a free game? not that big of a deal truthfully because they didnt even have to do that but now im still on a waiting list to recieve my part that should have been here last week. Does anyone else who ordered in the first week have a cancelled RMA status that they are dealing with??
Also, the tech support guy never asked for my address, could that be a little bad?

I ordered mines on the 26th and got the box and shipped it on the 30th and I check today if EA Updated and I too got the Cancelled RMA :< I jsut hope they even get my Box.

Hopefully for you, it means that they recieved your guitar and shipped out the new one. Unfortunately for me, i received nothing, it was never shipped, and now its cancelled. I ordered on the 21 or 22 and still no free game :(

o well, i called and had to redo my replacement order. I really hope it goes out today and will be here this week but i somehow doubt it.

i hate to say it but ur kind of annoying. I have a right to know where my parts are and there are people calling much more than I have. Im so sure they purposely cancelled it because of the amount of times I called.

After I told them that I shipped the guitar back to them. So, I got a new rma number and tracking number. Yeah, they didn't ask for my address either since they already have it in their system.

some grammar errors are getting me a little lost here. Did you do express or not? I did express, I was waiting for my part to come out since the 22, it never shipped to me, never left the factory. I was told many times it had already shipped which was a lie and then they cancelled the whole request. I had to call today and redo the whole process.

wow I also did that too :o But I only got the Tracking Number but no RMA :<

Are you serious?? I am annoying?? Well now you know how it feels. I do however have to applaud your restraint! only 3 brand new threads today!

my 3 were also on different things, u dont have to be such a dick about everything. And yea you are annoying. How am I being annoying trying to get information about something that should have been here a week ago. You knwo that there are issues with the service department hence the reason they are giving out free games now. They know there are issues and I called 3 days in a row and that was it. I dont see how thats annoying when im told it shipped and if ups doesnt say it does call back. Well, it doesnt say it does so i call back. Then I am told it didnt ship yet and to call back if it doesnt ship the next day and I do, then my order is cancelled. Thats poor customer service. some people here are calling multiple times every day.....if my threads bother you, get a life and dont go on rock band threads.... or you can ignore them and they will leave the front page.... if people are responding to them, they are obviously something people want to talk about.

Sorry, about the grammar error. I'm like out of it. Yes, I did express but just with the empty box sent to me and when you send it back the label will say ground. When I called EA the person I spoke to could not figure out why my rma was canceled. After I told him my story. He just made a new RMA and told me they are going to just send out a guitar for me. I think you should call them back and get the RMA numbers.

sorry, haha im still a little confused, express means u gave a credit card number and they sent out the guitar right away. An empty box isnt express. Maybe im still not understanding but yea i already called them, they had no idea why mine was cancelled and the guy assisted me in reordering. Still, that shouldnt happen.

i have been waiting for a guitar since nov 24. I was very upset it was taking so long, but was happy that it finally said "parts shipped". i check it dec 2, and it says cancelled rma. wtf is going on with this company. so much for 2 day shipping.

seriously, all i want is my free game. I never wanted to buy need for speed but if i can get it free, i really want to try it out

I also got a canceled RMA but in a different way. I received a replacement guitar on the 29th and dropped the broken one off at the UPS store late in the day on the 30th, which was a Friday. I know packages move on Sat. but I seriously doubt the old guitar made it to EA/HX in one day of shipping. The reason I bring this up is I just checked my RMA today and from some reason it was canceled as well.

You know what's extremely amusing to me... You seemed to be EA's #1 fanboi last week... "very very pleasant experience talking to ea on the phone"... "It's all UPS's fault, their web site isn't accurate", "calm down everyone"... etc. etc. etc. etc...
Guess that doesn't apply when it comes to you, eh? Well, it sure as hell seems to now.
You learn something these past few days son? I surely hope so.

I ordered my guitar on the 21st. I tried to talk to someone on friday. The guy told me that EA was not picking up (it was 4:00 in the afternoon in California) and that they would have to call me back. So I have a call back that is supposed to happen today at 4:00 (the time where supposedly no one was there). I told him I don't want a call back and that I wanted to speak to someone now. He had me hold about 10 minutes, came back and said that there was nothing he could do and it is best resolved by EA and not him (remember, this is a 3rd party out of Mumbai, Punjab, Dehli, who the F*ck knows?). So I am eagerly awaiting my 4:00 callback /sarcasm.
I think, unless I am really appeased by whoever I eventually talk to, I am pretty much done with EA. I stopped buying their sports games, with the exception of 08 this year, because those have become crap. I haven't bought an EA product, with the exception of college football 08, since Sims 2. I am now more than happy to not buy EA ever again. I have already cancelled my Army of Two reserve.
Note to HMX: Ditch these losers. They have already damaged your rep by association alone in this whole ordeal. You would have made just as much money going Indie. I know EA writes the fat checks, but they take smaller developers, chew them up and damage them until you can't even recognize them. A lot of people think you are behind the faulty gear when it was, in fact, EA.

i admit that it changed but I think I had the right to. People were complaining after 3 days that their 2 day shipping didnt arrive yet. Im sure they have been back up like crazy. When I called, I didnt think that a major company based on Its numerous customers would lie to most people who called. When they told me my package shipped, I assumed they knew what they were doing. Then, a week later, when my package still doesnt ship although it is supposeddly sitting in a box to leave "the next day" as I was told every day, I think I can be mad at them. Well then my RMA is cancelled?. I try to remain calm as much as I can and I still am, im just trying to see if this happened to anyone else. I was happy at first, assuming my package would ship monday after the holiday like all agents told me but that just never happened, and now almost 2 weeks later, I sit in the same spot I was back at release waiting another new order. If they had only told me at the begining that they were backed up and it might be a few weeks. They obviously know something is wrong if they are offering up free games to everyone who has waited this long. And there are people much angrier than me out there, im relatively calm just tyring to express my problems
