View Full Version : Reason why I & everyone else shouldn't care about people who quit in ranked

Well after getting the achievements were which pretty easy to get, I asked a Harm. Representative the specifics on quiting.

Little do most people know, when someone quits out on you, it counts for the leader boards as a win for you, and a loss for them.

Also,

Your true skill DOES increase, while the other player's true skill decreases.

I was a 32, and had a player that was at least a 33 quit on me when we both FC'ed Welcome Home as the song ended. I went up to a 33 and I checked the leader boards he was demoted to a 32.

Still I will continue to add players names to the list which they left the game.

I like how you complain about people quitting, but then have "If you plan on missing more than one note, just quit." in your sig.

i noticed it counts as a win
but for the streaks when someone quits it doesnt count it as a streak win

just out of curiosity, why does this thead imply that you hate when people quit, yet your profile says "if you plan on missing more than one note, just quit"

After playing on my day off for about five hours last night, had about six people over for an all night marathon, I defeated around 40+ people in a row with at least 10 people who left.

I'm talking about people with some skill to, they missed one note, or zero but still lost due to Overdrive use.

So they thought I should just put up the sig, to make it ironic that people who quit don't know they lose true skill and think it does not effect them.

So go head and quit, easier win for me.

I don't complain about them, I just post the names of people who quit.

It might sound cocky, but is it true if your going to miss more than one note, you will lose.

I am using the Xplorer guitar due to the Fender having faulty strum.

I obtained a second loss last night, we both FC'ed the song & both flawless overdrive BUT, I do not have the Strat to use the solo buttons for the faster " Big Rock Ending" bonus, so he gained an extra thousand.

Sad, but whatever I do the best I can.

People like KingNuclear crack me up. It's a game, dude.

This is why if I play online I do so with people that are friends where I live, or friends off my PSN buddy list.

Yes it is a game.

Something along the lines of " Go play a real guitar man". Don't worry they are just mad they can't beat you in rock band.

Were both playing the game same, but because you do not excel at it, is it "just a game."

Yes, why you may excel at playing a plastic toy more than others, I also excel at reading comprehension which it appears you do not.

I don't own a 360, so that makes it a tad difficult to load Rock Band into my 360.

Actually, you made your self look inferior and quite possibly just plain stupid.

You imply that you " excel at a reading comprehension" that is not a grammatically correct statement.

Ergo, you are trumped sir the battle is lost.

Just for the sake of being fair, if the individual would of used the statement in a correct manner, I would have said ; he has won the thread. : )

Um. What? Even in your post, you quoted "I also excel at reading comprehension" from jq's post, yet you misquoted him in your typed response.

Oh, and just since I feel like being an ass:
"Yourself" is one word.
Adding spaces to sentences in the way you did is incorrect.
"Ergo," "Trumped," etc. are all just words you're using to "like an intelligent intellectual human."
Also, lovely capitalization and punctuation.

But seriously, insulting someone because they pointed out the irony in one of your statements?

EDIT: To kick this edit off, I'd like to point out that signing your posts outside of your signature makes you look like a tool. That goes for any of you. Now, as if you didn't make yourself seem like enough of a jerk to begin with, you double post. Nice move, but you should really think all this out first.

I'm sorry, but just because something may not be grammatically correct has nothing to do with reading comprehension.

What good is it to build a proper sentence if you won't understand it?

I think you are overestimating how much people care. Being ranked in the top doesn't mean you are good, it means you are good AND you have the time to play a lot. It's quite possible to be good at the game, but only have a few minutes here and there to actually play online, and by doing that, you'll never be ranked near the top (other than top scores for a specific song, or things like that).

During Thanksgiving break I was in the top 5 on the PS3 for BWT, and then classes started again, and guess where I am? I don't even know, because I haven't checked, but I fell a lot, and never plan on climbing back up.

You added the "a" in "excel at a reading comprehension." His post isn't edited, and you quoted him, he said "I also excel at reading comprehension which it appears you do not."

Nice try.

Since we're pointing out grammar errors now, I thought it funny that you used the incorrect 'would of' once and then later in the exact same sentence, correctly used 'would have'.

I lol'd at this thread.

People like KingNuclear are why I don't intend on playing on ranked or with people who aren't already my friends.

This is one of those typical threads...
"Look at me, I'm better than you."
"Well, you're a big loser."
"Nuh-uh, you're a loser!!"
"NO U"

Thank you! Haha this guy's starting to get annoying. You've got skill at RB guitar bro and that's cool and all, but constant posts about the same thing over and over? It's getting old man, take your skill and enjoy it, but trying to talk about other people and telling us how you DEMOLISHED 40 people in a row, plus the complete contradiction of your SIG and your posts.... dude, just get over it.

Grats on being good, but the posts man.. THE POSTS!!!

Maybe you can get a contract to break 1,000,000 points.

Just don't get mad when your reward is a message that says "YOU ARE F**S"
