I know with a lot of games - most, in fact - you CAN play on Xbox Live on the same console with a friend, but they need their own Live account.
I'm curious - will it be the same deal with Rock Band? I mean, my drummer doesn't even have a 360, and would only play it at my place, so it'd be a huge downer if I couldn't just take him online with my account and play with, say, my bassist in Salt Lake City and my singer in Australia.

well, it could work like in halo where you show up as "Gamertag" and your friend can use the same thing and would show up as "Gamertag(guest)"
