Drum Pad Broken- Can't RMA

I won Rockband at an auction and when I set it up, the green drum pad didn't work. I contacted EA, but since I doin't have a receipt of purchase, I can't return it. Any ideas on how I can try to fix it?

Well, how to fix it depends on if the pad is faulty (bad sensor) or if the board(s) are bad. You could determine that by removing the green head and unplugging the sensor, then temporarily moving another pad to connecting it to the green harness.

If the green input works with another pad, then you can just grab a new pad on eBay. If not, then you can move on to the board, tracing the path from the green harness to the connection to the circuit board.
