do i have defective drums?

I just got RB this past weekend, guitar crapped out after 20 minutes of play but i've been using the GH3 controller until the new one gets here. After beating the solo guitar career i decided to move to the drum career. i'm not very good at it, i can only play on medium and even then, not too well. i do notice though, that the game doesnt seem to register certain hits, especially the red pad. it will work a good amount of the time, but about 1/4 of the time the hits dont register, which is annoying since i can never get my multiplier up. at first i chalked it up to me being a crappy drummer, but now i'm certain i have the beats on certain songs down, and it's still missing certain beats.

has anyone else had this problem? would EA replace my drums too even though i've already requested a replacement guitar?

Keep reading through the threads on this site or do a search. Probably a dozen people having the same problem as you on the drums. Yes, they'll send you drums even though you've already got a guitar on the way/

i think u can fix it buy going to the ummm option and calibrate or just pick one the matches ur tv

Yeah, there is a faulty model that does this. Do a really fast drumroll during an intro and see if it cuts out on you.
