Game Startup Problems (Xbox 360)

I posted this before but didn't get a single response. Well since video is such a powerful medium, maybe this has to be seen to get a response.

"Can't seem to embed the Youtube video" What give?

Well, maybe you should try it wih another game in the X-box. All the items I have read, and believe me I have read them all, this is the first, of this problem, I have seen. It maybe a disk problem, if so exchange the disk for another copy of the software.

I'd give them a call at 1 (650) 628-1001 and press 2 or whatever it is (not the rock band option) and try to get a person, and then tell them what's wrong and hopefully they can direct you to the right person.

Yeah I could have sworn I stated that in the video. I have 10 other Xbox 360 games, that I have played, all with the CD in the system on boot up and they run fine. It only happens to this game. (Go figure)

That sucks, I would return the Game disk, and exchange it. See if that fixes the problem.... Good luck..

why would you not select the rockband option?

thanks, I'm going to do that. Was just hoping I'd get some official response, or hear about others having the same problem. I was getting ready to quickly blame my 360, but I noticed as I changed from game to game the problem wouldn't happen. Not unless it was with the Rockband game.

your problem seems very strange to me. Its most likely the game. Even if you cannot see scratches, they can still be there. The other slim possibility is ur disc drive is dying... if other games wrok though, i would doubt it. and also, i would select teh rock band option anyways, but rock band support is 24/7 where normal ea support has hours of operation

Something similar happened with my friends rockband disc for the 360. He took it straight from the box, put it in and it would not work at all. After some frustration, and knowing he's supposed to go through EA, he went back to the store he got it from and complained enough that they finally gave him a replacement disc.

mine has problems booting from the dashboard but if I have it set to auto boot so that when I turn it on it will go right into the game it plays fine. But it will boot from the dashboard 9/10 times but sometimes it gives me problems.
