PS3 RB1 Guitar Dongle Doesn't turn on/work

So my brother who play the guitar has been sad over the fact the PS3 dongle no longer works. We take really good care of our equipment but now it seems the dongle just died on us. The guitar does work and we borrowed a dongle from a friend and it turns on and connects fine to ours. What should we do?

I honestly don't have an answer for you, other than buying another guitar. Finding peripheral dongles seems to be almost impossible.

It's the RB1 guitar and I got it in the bundle the day RB1 came out. Could HMX help me out and send me just a dongle?
