I recently purchased the Starpex Peak full size guitar controller. It is a truly awesome controller for Rockband. I did notice however that one of the fret buttons, (the red fret button), is sticking on the top portion of the button. Since there are 2 connections for each button, only the top portion of the button is sticking but I am still able to play the game since the bottom connection works fine. It is annoying that sometimes when I press the button down it stays stuck down for a few seconds before "popping" back up. I love playing the game with this controller and would like to fix it if I can. I purchased it from Circuit City during their store closing sale so I cannot take it back, however I would much rather keep it and fix it myself if possible. I have determined how to remove the top part of the fret button assembly to get to the contacts but once there, does anyone know what exactly must I do to fix this problem? Do I have to clean the contact that is sticking? If so, how? Before unassembling the whole thing I would like to know what to do to fix this problem. Any help from someone that knows how to do this would be very much appreciated.
