question about replacement timeline

if we got the game when it came out, and we still haven't run into any problems but say in a few months things start to break(like the strum bar), can we still get it replaced for free?

it depends if they decide to make an announcement about extended warrenties but i am assuming yes you will be fine as EA wants to make the customers satisfied. It 2 months though, if you still havent broken anything, ur best bet is maybe to send it back anyways for new and imporved hardware hopefully.

I was thinking about sending the guitar back anyways to make sure i get one that won't break but I'm unsure of what to do.

If they can guarantee that those of use that got it on release have an extended warranty, then I'll be happy with that. I don't my want 60 days to be up and then it break. i'm concerned since i'm working my way through the difficulties so i doubt i would find any issues on medium guitar and easy drums.
