Leaderboard Search Feature

Hey Hmx!!

I saw a couple posts done in Jan-April of 08, but haven't seen any updates so I thought I would open a new thread. Have there been any updates on adding a search function or other identifying functionality to check your own band's scores on the leaderboard?

HMX is terrible at web integration/leaderboards/stats. Big let down after their whole "awesome community site" promise, and the site doesn't even link to the actual gameplay at all.

Pretty sure I have posted in a topic like this before, but you definitely need to add this functionality. The leaderboards in their current state are close to useless.

That's SO not true. The leaderboards are not close to useless... close to useless would be a step up. Completely useless would be a bit more accurate!

Searchable leaderboards by BAND, GUITAR, BASS, DRUMS, VOCALS for TOTALS under all platforms and RB1/RB2.

Does not have per song leaderboards...that would simply take up too much disk space and processing power for anyone but a huge company with tons of bandwidth and disk space to do.

Still a huge step up from what Rock Band provides.

Before we (friend and I) looked into just how much disk space and processing power what we currently have uses, we envisioned having all leaderboards for all songs...keeping multiple days worth of data...and actually graphing peoples improvement and such.

We figured not only would it be a useful tool to increase rankings, but it'd really keep us hard core players motivated.

Bottom line is...I want to improve my rank every single day. And the leaderboards, as provided, are not very helpful toward that goal. What gorockband provides with the searchability isn't much better...but it is a step in the right direction of showing Harmonix just how frickin' easy it can be.

Neat thing to have it searchable, good job. But for Rock Band 2 those Career scores are all glitched (inflated) because they come straight from the Career scores of RockBand.com.

For unglitched All-Console, All-Solo, and All-Song Leaderboards, go to RockBandStats.com (http://RockBandStats.com). It is unglitched because all the leaderboards are calculated from the total of the individual songs.

I might add a search box to the Leaderboards page, but for now you can quickly see your rank by searching for your name on the My Scores page.

Ive done better than my last scores, but they didnt update. Is something wrong?
Oh! and when I looked at RockBandStats.com the scores were exactly the same as my leaderboard and its been like a week or two since it last updated.
